Preventative Maintenance Programs

RMB Mechanical’s service team keeps your equipment running before it has a reason to fail. We provide routine maintenance and catch potential problems during scheduled inspections, before it comes a breakdown.

Benefits of Routine Maintenance:

Large industrial HVAC system with silver ductwork and exposed copper pipes is installed in a room with unfinished walls and concrete floor. Labels and warning signs are visible on the equipment, highlighting the importance of preventative maintenance for reliable operation and safety.
Large HVAC unit with multiple fans on a flat rooftop, surrounded by pipes and a brick wall—part of a comprehensive design build project—with trees and a building featuring a green roof in the background.

WHO WE SERVE

Every commercial facility is different, and so is every piece of equipment in it. We build custom maintenance agreements based on what your systems actually need, not a one-size-fits-all package. The goal is simple: keep your equipment running efficiently and catch problems before they cause downtime.

Your equipment determines your schedule

although at a minimum we are on-site once for the heating startup and once for cooling.

Sensitive refrigerant, control components, and sensors mean small issues can escalate quickly. We recommend frequent check-ins (often quarterly or more) to catch problems early.

Reliable, standard equipment that typically performs well with semi-annual filter, coil, and electrical service.

Frequency depends on usage — a service bay or kitchen exhaust with ventilation fans may need more frequent attention than a comfort-cooling unit.

Seasonal servicing plus water treatment coordination to protect high-value equipment and avoid costly failures.

When downtime isn’t an option, we place dedicated on-site technicians for daily coverage and priority response.

Routine maintenance typically entails a spring startup, fill & treatment, summer maintenance, and winterization.

Systems that may require additional visits:

VRF systems, dirty work environment or high-pollen areas that require additional filter changes, etc.
